CAROL ELAINE ENGLER Carol Engler, age 75, passed away March 19, 2008 in Vancouver. She was born November 14, 1932 in Centralia, WA and grew up in the Tillamook area and graduated from Tillamook High School. Carol married Wilfred Engler and they lived in the Camas/Washougal area. She would drive the funeral coach for Straubâ?? Funeral Home for several years and was active in the Church of God. She later drove bus for the Washougal School District and for C-Tran. Even after she retired she would still transport her friends to different appointments. Carol enjoyed being the center of attention. She also enjoyed fishing, embroidery, and canning pickles. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy and husband Craig Brooks of Rhododendron, OR and granddaughter, Kylie Brooks of Rhododendron, OR. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 11 at 2pm at the Marshall House on the west end of Officerâ??s Row at 1301 E Evergreen Blvd. Vancouver, WA. Private interment was held at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given to the Ray Hickey Hospice House @ 2112 E Mill Plain Blvd. Vancouver, WA 98661.
