Obituary of Marion J. Kerr

MARION J. KERR Marion J. Kerr passed away March 16, 2008 at her home in Camas at the age of 81. She was born September 12, 1926 in Esmond, ND and as a child her family moved many times finally settling in Spokane. She married Donald Kerr in 1947 and they remained in the Spokane raising their family. Marion worked for the city of Spokane in many different capacities. Donald passed away in 1978. She retired in 1986 and moved to Newport, WA in 1993 and then to Camas five years ago. She was a quilter and belonged to Zion Lutheran Quilters. She was a life member of the V.F.W. and volunteered many years for the VA. She also loved her flower beds. She was preceded in death by a sister; her husband, Donald and friend, Earl Strawn. Survivors include son, John and wife Vicki Kerr of Camas; daughter, Karn Kerr of Portland, OR; 2 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
