Obituary of Ernest G. Kuhn

ERNEST G. KUHN Ernest Kuhn, age 85, passed away February 29 in Vancouver. He was born February 1, 1923 in Black Oak, AR to Charles and Sylvia Kuhn. Ernest grew up in Arkansas and later joined the Marines and served during WWII. Mr. Kuhn married Pauline Mote in 1946 and they later moved to El Segundo, CA in 1950 where he worked for the school district as a custodian for 33 years. In 1994 they moved to Washougal to be closer to family. Pauline passed away in 1998 and Ernest moved to Vancouver in 2006. He attended the Washougal Church of the Nazarene and was active in many prayer groups in the Camas and Washougal area. He is survived by his sons, Gary and Dennis Kuhn and granddaughter, Elizabeth Hanson. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 4 at 1pm at Straubâ??s Funeral Home in Camas. Visitation will be Tuesday starting at 9am until the time of service. Vault interment will follow at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
