Barbara I Heaton
March 20, 1938 - May 15, 2019

Barbara Heaton passed away peacefully on May 15, 2019, at PeaceHealth Medical Center, at the age of 81.  Barbara was born in Williams, Minnesota to Mae and Fabian LaValla.  . 

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Bob of 64 years and her children, Greg Heaton, Scott (Julie) Heaton, Christine French, Kelly (Randy) Hoch and Corrine (Steve) Fuchs.  She had 14 grandchildren and 15 great children. Barbara was retired and spent most of her career working as a Teacher’s aide/School bus driver for the Clallam Bay School District

Barbara was devoted to the Catholic faith and spent many years volunteering at St. Thomas Aquinas church as well as many hours reading to the elderly at several assist living facilities.  She enjoyed weekly visits to the Camas Library and tending to her flower gardens.   She was the heart and soul of her family, a great sister to her siblings and a generous and loving grandmother.  She had touched so many lives with her gentle, loving spirit she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Services were held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in, Camas, WA  on Monday, May 20th.  Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.  To send condolences or to sign the online guestbook please visit www.straubsfuneralhome.com
