LUCILLE K. CONVEY Lucille K. Convey, of Camas, passed away January 21, 2008 in Camas at the age of 97. She was born December 11, 1910 in Centralia, WA to Mary Smith and Gus Hennessy. Lucille grew up in Bellingham, WA and after high school she worked as a waitress at a coffee shop. It was there that she met Victor Convey and they married on October 18, 1936 and made their home in the Seattle area. Later they moved to Salem, OR and then back to Seattle before moving to Bellevue and retiring. They would later spend winters in Arizona and summers in Marysville, WA. Lucille was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Prune Hill Ward and served in various positions. She enjoyed cooking, canning, camping and loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She is survived by her sons, Mike Convey of Camas, Allan Convey of Bellevue, WA; daughter, Mary Kirby of Stevensville, MT; sister, Nellie Williams of Oak Harbor, WA; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 26 at 12pm at the Mt. View Cemetery in Centralia, WA.
