Obituary of Raymond Michael Senchyna

RAYMOND MICHAEL SENCHYNA Raymond Senchyna, age 89, passed away September 2, 2007 in The Dalles, OR. He was born September 17, 1917 in Cleveland, OH the last of 8 children born to Joseph and Johanna Senchyna. After finishing high school, Raymond joined the Merchant Marines. He was later drafted into the Army during WWII. After his military service he worked as a commercial fisherman and later was self-employed in several different businesses. Raymond finished is working career as a general contractor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and treasure hunting. Mr. Senchyna was also a devoted family man. Survivors include his sons, Ed of Vancouver, Mike of Battle Ground and 3 grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later date.
