Obituary of Brian Gay

A memorial service will be held May 23rd, 2007 at 2:00 PM at St. John?s Lutheran Church for Michael Brian Gay. Brian was born on November 11, 1962 in Portsmouth, Virginia to John Gay and Marina Hodikoff. John Gay and Karen L.G. Hunt raised him along with his seven siblings. He left this earth on May 8th, 2007, he was 1,403,913,600 seconds old 44 years. Brian was a caring, compassionate, and humorous man. He was an avid reader who was a master of trivia, as well as a computer geek, techno-nerd, and sci-fi fan. Brian was also an athlete who played sports most of his life, and loved ?America?s Pastime? baseball. He played baseball for and graduated from Evergreen High School. His all-time favorite team was the Los Angeles Dodgers. He played fast pitch softball with his dad and led the Portland league in home runs. Brian is survived by his children Sam, Alison, and Max; his parents John Gay and Karen L.G. Hunt; his siblings Marvina Methven Bugajski, Theresa Hunt Deal, Boone Methven, Jim Capps, Darcee Hunt Miller, Shannan Hunt Blystone, and Karena Hunt Block; his grandmother Vivian Ottesen; as well as numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Crematory in Camas is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Evergreen Little League in Brian?s memory.
