Obituary of Phillip E. Yancey

PHILLIP E. YANCEY Phillip E. Yancey, age 52, passed away May 10, 2007 in Camas. He was born June 10, 1954 in Eugene, OR and was raised in Portland and graduated from Benson High School. He later attended Oregon State University and went to work at Yancey Machine Tool Company. Phillip married Ann on September 9, 1989 in Portland. They moved to Camas in September of 1995. He was a member of Gateway Community Church in Washougal and enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed computers, geology and photography. He is survived by his wife, Ann; parents, Robert and Ernestine Yancey of Portland; and brothers, Mark Yancey of Florida and Byron Yancey of West Linn, OR. A celebration of life service will be Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 1pm at the Gateway Community Church @ 1235 E St. Washougal, WA 98671.
