JAMES LEE GARRETT SCHEPLEY James Schepley, age 68, passed away May 12, 2007 in Vancouver. He was born November 28, 1938 in Boise, ID. James was raised be his grandparents and moved around as a young man. He would later work in the grocery industry starting as a box boy working his way up to owner and manager. James spent over 50 years in the grocery business. Mr. Schepley was a private pilot and enjoyed many activities including, skydiving, snow and water-skiing, fishing, hunting, riding snowmobile?s and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Edward Garrett and sister, Carol Garrett. Survivors include his daughter, Colleen Hankins of Vancouver; Colleen?s mother, Nancy Yott of Washougal; grandchild, Falon Hankins of Boise, ID; nephew, Edward James Garrett of South Carolina; nieces, Audra True of Boise, ID and Carol Gean Parker of Sacramento, CA. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
