Obituary of Leona Margaret Wolling

LEONA MARGARET WOLLING Leona Wolling, 92 of Camas, passed away May 5, 2007 in Vancouver. She was born April 11, 1915 to Herman and Anna Urkvitz Theel in New Ulm, MN. She grew up in Minnesota and married Alexander Wolling in Morton, MN on April 10, 1938. They moved to Minneapolis and she worked as a waitress for Kresge Co. which is now K-Mart. Alexander passed away in 1972 and Leona retired in 1975. She moved to Washougal in 1981 and then to Camas in 1997. Leona was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Washougal and did volunteer work at the Good Shepherd House and the Treasure House. She liked to crochet, knit and play cards. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sisters and 4 brothers and an infant daughter. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Wednesday, May 9 at 2pm at the Camas Cemetery. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
