Obituary of Ruth F. Sears

Ruth Sear, age 80, passed away March 6, 2007 in Vancouver. She was born January 7, 1927 in Casper, WY where she was raised. In 1948 she married William Sears. They stayed in Casperand William worked in the gas and oil business while Ruth was a homemaker. Mrs. Sears loved musi. She would later become the first woman in Wyoming to become a certified director of a male barbershop quartet. Ruth also enjoyed being a seamstress. William passed away in 2004 and Ruth moved to Vancouver in 2006 to be closer to her family. She is survived by her sons, Steve of Washougal, Kent of Las Vegas, Jeff of Seattle; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Casper, WY.
