Obituary of Joan L. Pogue

JOAN L. POGUE Joan Pogue, age 61, passed away February 9, in Vancouver. She was born June 16, 1945 and was raised in North Bonneville, WA. She graduated from Stevenson High School and went on to get her Bachelor?s Degree from Washington State University and her Master?s Degree in Psychology from City University. Joan worked as a secretary and a homemaker. She had married Steve Pogue and made their home in Vancouver. Joan later used her degree by working for a while as a Therapist before recently working as a mortgage underwriter. Mrs. Pogue is remembered as always being there to help people who were down on their luck. She is survived by her sons, Shawn and Chris Waterman both of Washougal, Fred and Chuck Waterman both of Vancouver; father, Ken Peterson of North Bonneville; brothers, Keith and Dennis Waterman both of Stevenson, Daryl Peterson of North Bonneville and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday, February 17 at 1pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints @ 11101 NE 119th St. in Brush Prairie.
