JAMES WILLIAM MARGESON James Margeson, 82, passed away October 11 at home in Vancouver. He was born October 3, 1924 in Kensington, MN and moved to South Dakota as an infant. James joined the Army and served in the infantry during WWII in the South Pacific. After he was discharged he moved to Tacoma and then to Vancouver in 1953. He worked as an accountant for Tektronix, Inc. in Beaverton for 22 years and retired in 1984. Mr. Margeson was a tax aid for the AARP and enjoyed fishing and playing pinochle. He is survived by his wife, Margarita at home; daughters, Susan Friend of Tacoma, Karen Shugars of Portland, Patricia Graham of Aberdeen, WA, Donna Welbaum of Winlock, WA; step-son, Mark Tiffany of Vancouver; step-daughter, J.L. Aboitiz of Seattle; brothers, Walter Margeson of Tacoma, Thomas Margeson of Estacada, OR, Dick Margeson of Tacoma, Harold Margeson of Roscoe, SD 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Services will be private. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
