Obituary of Mary Alice Rich

MARY ALICE RICH Mary Rich, age 93, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2006 at home in Vancouver. She was born May 28, 1913 in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. She married Walt Rich on December 16, 1949 in Vancouver and they made Camas their home. Before becoming a homemaker, Mary worked for SP&S Railroad in Vancouver. They moved to Vancouver 7 years ago. Mary enjoyed knitting, ceramics, painting, reading and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Walt, at home; daughters, Myrna Lane of Federal Way, WA, Lynn Gibson of Tacoma, WA; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Private graveside services will be held at the Camas Cemetery. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements. The Rich family requests that no flowers be sent and that memorial donations be made to the Camas Lions Club c/o Straub?s Funeral Home 325 NE 3rd Ave., Camas, WA 98607.
