With deepest sympathy for your loss. Dick was our son\'s golf coach at Washougal High School. We wanted to let you know he was very patient and kind to our son Kyle. When ever we had a question or concern about Kyle Dick was great! Kyle learned alot about golf from him. They had a lot of laughs in the old van he would drive to some of the matches. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to know him! We appreciate his contribution to the kids!Again we are sorry to hear about your loss and pray that you may find comfort with family and friends.

I remember how I felt about Dick the few times I had a chance to talk to him: I\'m a shy person but he was welcoming, friendly, interested, gracious, funny, and truly pleased that we could visit from California. I have a picture of Dick from the 1970?s. My sister Jodie was visiting them. I don\'t know who the photographer was but the picture shows Brad, Jodie, Dick, Terri, Rod, a golden retriever and a St. Bernard. Dick is dressed in a shirt with red and blue stars and stripes and a straw hat with a high crown and a wide brim, a size or two too small, perched on his head. Even though he is the tallest of the group, you don?t mistake him for the patriarch or even the oldest; he is simply part of a pack of happy, silly Londons showing an out-of-towner a good time. His face is impish, as if he is daring the photographer to guess the next bit of mischief he has planned with his merry pranksters. He was a cool guy, we will miss him.

Betty and Family, Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember the whole family from my years working at Video II in Camas. Dick was always a welcomed sight. With his bright smile and good nature, he was always a pleasure to talk to. May his wonderful spirit give you peace and comfort.
