RICHARD ARTHUR ALBERTS Richard Alberts, age 69, passed away August 23, 2006 at home in Vancouver. HE was born June 8, 1937 in Casselton, ND. Rich grew up in Spokane, WA and married Sharon Smith on June 14, 1968. They moved to Vancouver 24 years ago and he worked as a project manager for NW Flooring. Rich retired in 2002 and worked part time for FloorEver, Inc. He was an outdoorsman who loved his family, fishing, hunting, and camping. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, at home; children, Stephanie Rudberg and her husband, Richard of Vancouver, Lori Alberts of Spokane, WA, Larry Alberts of Spokane, WA, Randy Doucet of Lynnwood, WA; sister, Patricia Martin of Spokane, WA and 5 grandchildren. A memorial service will be Sunday, September 10 from 1pm to 5pm at the family?s residence. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Richard Alberts to the Humane Society of Southwest Washington SPCA 2121 St. Francis Lane, Vancouver, WA 98660 360 693-4746.
