Obituary of Charlotte Crum

CHARLOTTE CRUM Charlotte Crum passed away on January 28, 2017 at the age of 94. She was born May 2, 1922 in Kalispell, MT. She grew up in Montana until moving to Camas at the age of 19. She met Joseph Crum and the married on March 18, 1944. They stayed in the area and raised their family in Washougal. Charlotte worked for J.C. Penny for a short time and then Runyan's Jewlers for for about 13 years. She belonged to the 49er RV Club and loved to read. Charlotte supported all her family members and their extracurricular activities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 2008. She is survived by her sons, Vance and Randy of Washougal, Jay of Carson; daughter, Jolette Schmid of West Richland, WA; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Her life will be celebrated on Friday, February 10 from 1pm to 3pm at Camas Meadows. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.
