Obituary of Bridget Theresa Doyle

Bridget Theresa Doyle Bridget "Theresa" Doyle was born in Ballinacorriga, Westport, Co. Mayo, Ireland on February 20, 1929 to Patrick and Mary Ellen Browne. She grew up with five brothers and sisters and then immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island in 1948. She settled in Chicago, Illinois where she eventually met and would marry Joseph Doyle in 1958. The couple raised their two children on Oakdale Avenue then eventually moved to Vancouver, Washington. Theresa and Joe were very active in their community and in their church and cherished many wonderful friendships over the years. In 2005, Theresa and Joe moved to Camas to live with their son Robert and his wife, Ellen. Theresa passed away on November 23, 2016 in her home surrounded by family. She is survived by her sister, Margaret, her children, Robert and Maureen, and her grandchildren, Kathleen, John, Erin, and Máire. She is remembered as a world-class chef, a wild comedian, and, above all, a loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A funeral mass was held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11AM at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas. Interment followed at the Camas Cemetery.
