Deborah J. Knotts peacefully passed away with her family by her side on Monday, August 25, 2025 at her home in Vancouver, Washington.  Born on August 20, 1962 in Eugene, Oregon to Howard and Betty (Dwyer) Tally; Deborah was 63 years old.

Deborah earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oregon State University and was a former All-State Volleyball and All-State Track & Field Athlete at Crater High School  in Oregon.  She went on to work for over 35 years as a Medical Technologist for Kaiser Permanente.  She was a devout Catholic who enjoyed waterskiing, camping and most of all being with her family.

Deboroh is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Clifford J. Knotts at home; daughter Britney (Kyle) Ervin of Washougal, WA; sons Ryan (Ashley) Knotts of Vancouver, WA and Tyler (Kynnedy) Knotts of Washougal, WA; father Howard (Lynn) Tally of Eagle Point, OR and mother Betty (George) Dwyer of Medford, OR; sisters Patti (Bill) Huss of Vancouver, WA and Tanya (Terry) Norton of Central Point, OR; brothers Neil (Karen) Tally of Phoenix, OR and Perry (Lara) White of Tumwater, OR; and four grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of Deborah’s life on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 12:00 pm at The Lacamas Lake Lodge: 227 NE Lake Road, Camas, WA 98607.  Private interment will be held at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery in Washougal, WA.  Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia River Cremation in Camas have been entrusted with arrangements.
