Leslye Lou Hansen Obituary

  Leslye L (Bullock) Hansen went home to be with Jesus on May 5, 2025. She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on March 18, 1928 and grew up in San Jose, California. After graduating from San Jose High School in 1945, she continued her education as a music major at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. It was there that she met the love of her life, Donald Hansen. They were married in San Jose on December 20, 1947 and moved to Washougal, Washington where Donald was offered a teaching and coaching position in the Washougal School District.


   Leslye worked as a manager at both the Camas and Washougal branches of Riverview Bannk during the 1960s and 70s. She was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Camas where she was organist and/or choir director for more than 50 years. She was also active at Orchard Hills Country Club and ran the junior golf program for several years. She was an avid reader, loved to knit, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.


  Predeceasing her were her husband Donald, her son-in-law David Jones, her parents A.Leslie and Clarice Bullock and her brother Byron. Survivors are her daughters April Jones, Janie Hansen and Patti Wills; grandchildren Jennifer (Ryan) Gardner, Joshua and Joel Amundson and Erik, Andrea, and Daniel Wills; Great Grandchildren Chase and Jacoby Gardner, Leia and Kaitlyn Amundson, Caden Amundson and Benjamin and Abigail Wills; and Nieces, Debbie (Greg) Gifford and Karen (Mike) Bena.
