Obituary of Robert Walling

ROBERT M. WALLING Robert "Bob" Walling passed away on January 6, 2017 at the age of 90. He was born March 5, 1926 in Waitsburg, WA. He lived in Camas since 1954 where he taught school for 32 years. He graduated from Vancouver High School in 1944. He later graduated from Easter Washington University with Bachelor's Degree and form the University of Oregon with a Master's Degree. He was a Army veteran of WWII and a long time member of the Camas Lions Club. Bob spent many years cycling with the Portland Wheelman Touring Club. He is survived by his son Robert of Vancouver and Thomas of Bend; daughter, Amy Jo of Meridian, ID; sisters, Joanne of Goldendale and Marcia of Vancouver and 4 grandchildren. A private service will be at the Camas Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
