Obituary of Marian Ardell Halvorson

Marian Halvorson Marian Ardell Halvorson peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver, Washington. Born on June 28, 1924 in North Dakota; Marian was 92 years old. A Washougal resident since 1966, Marian worked as a teacher and librarian for the Camas School District and was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Camas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gerhard Halvorson in 2003. There will be a graveside service for Marian on Friday, September 16th at 11:00 am at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marian's memory may be sent to the charity of choice. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
