May 14, 1947 ~ February 5, 2018

Daniel Raymond DeBoever, 70, of Camas, Washington, passed away suddenly in his home on February 5, 2018.

Dan was born in Vancouver, Washington to Raymond and Mary DeBoever on May 14, 1947. He graduated from Camas High School.  He retired from Bonneville Power Administration following 39 years of service.

An avid outdoorsman, “Beav” loved hunting, camping, hiking, boating, gardening, and farming. He had a passion for sports including running, biking, bowling, golf, and baseball/softball. He was a huge fan of the Seahawks, Mariners, Braves, and Trailblazers, but his favorite athlete to watch was his granddaughter. Dan will be remembered for his Super Bowl parties, love for cooking, and all things involving wine.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand and will be deeply missed.

Dan is survived by his son, Brian DeBoever (Julie); granddaughter, Ashlyn DeBoever; brothers, David DeBoever (Nancy), William DeBoever, and James DeBoever (Julie); sister, Christine McIvor (Kelly); and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mary DeBoever; sister, Kathleen Zimmer; and brother, Joseph DeBoever.

A rosary will be recited at St. Thomas Catholic Church, in Camas, Washington on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas on Friday, February 9, 2018 at noon with Father Jerry Woodman officiating.  Burial will immediately follow at the Camas Cemetery followed by a reception at St. Thomas.
